FACTS YOU SHOULD KNOW ABOUT COMPANION LAWN CRYPTS

Lawn Crypt burial may be the right option for you or a family member. The following information will help you understand what is involved.

All four of our Catholic Cemeteries offer ground burial in pre-installed lawn crypts. Please contact one of our cemetery counselors for answers to your specific questions.

THE TIMELESS TRADITION OF IN-GROUND BURIAL

Traditional in-ground burial or mausoleum entombment have been the typical burial choices throughout the ages. Companion lawn crypt burial combines many of the benefits of mausoleum entombment with the timeless tradition of in-ground burial.

LAWN CRYPTS PROVIDE THE BENEFITS OF MAUSOLEUM ENTOMBMENT

Often referred to as in-ground mausoleums, lawn crypts are constructed of steel reinforced concrete shells providing enduring strength and lasting protection for the casket. Further, this strength and endurance serve to preserve the park-like appearance of the grounds.

INTERMENT SERVICES INCLUDE

Administration, permanent records, and documentation, opening the lawn crypt, set-up, and closing the burial site.

THE COMPANION MEMORIAL

Memorials pay tribute to and identify the lives of those interred in the companion lawn crypt. In our cemeteries they are most commonly made of a thick slab of granite or a cast bronze plate.

COST FACTORS

  • Location of the grave you choose
  • The kind of memorial you want
  • When you make the purchase

As time goes by, inflation pushes prices up. You will avoid higher future costs by making your selection now.

Lawn crypts are installed in multiple sections rather than individual units. This provides savings in construction costs, labor, and materials, and we pass these savings on to you.
